Co-managed a global user-centred design project to develop a corporate learning and development portal within BP’s intranet. This was a complex application containing competency assessment tools, directories, a reference library, career maps, interviews etc. (circa 24,000 end users)
- Designed the portal from scratch, ensuring global usage consistency and accommodated cultural and technological constraints
- Employed a collaborative approach to work with business leaders to understand their needs and existing design aesthetics and created mock-ups to ensure adherence to corporate identify and intranet guidelines
- Developed Flash animation style guide documentation and supporting offline communications such as posters, banners etc.
Leraning & development Portal - 2006
Designed & built a 'white label' learning portal to support the value and talent of BP staff, using a consistent framework of competency & career development actions, which encourages BP people in taking responsibility for their own learning & development.
